I don't think Daniel Carr woke up this morning thinking he'd be scoring his first NHL goal tonight. Let alone, scoring it on his first career shift. Carr was penciled into the lineup earlier today when it was revealed Devante Smith-Pelly would be out of the lineup with a lower body injury. Almost three minutes into the game, Carr took a pass from Christian Thomas and wrapped it in past Cam Ward for his first career NHL goal. I think the last Habs player to score on his first career shift was Max Pacioretty in 2008.
