With July 1st firmly behind us, the Montreal Canadiens continued adding pieces to the team. Earlier in the day, the Canadiens announced the signing of Philip Samuelsson and that was followed up by the signing of Chris Terry. Both players inked one year, two way contracts.
Samuelsson and Terry should both see significant action in St. John’s next season while also being potential call ups. It should be noted that both players are eligible for waivers once sent down.
The Canadiens non-tendered a few AHL depth players last week and were in the market to add some AHL veterans.
