Les Canadiennes finished off their series with the Toronto Furies with a 7-1 win on Saturday night in front of a packed house at Bell Sports Complex in Brossard. Montreal finds themselves headed to Ottawa to compete for the Clarkson Cup in a winner-take-all showdown against the Calgary Inferno on Sunday March 13.
Calgary beat the Brampton Thunder 4-3 Saturday evening, winning that series in two games as well.
"We want to go all the way this year," said Caroline Ouellette after the game. "Right now we feel great. We feel confident. We feel ready. It's a privilege to make it to the final in the league, and now we have to show up and be the better team.
