Les Canadiennes came into Sunday afternoon's contest against the Furies with a 5-1 Saturday evening win in their back pocket, looking to complete the weekend sweep in Toronto.
Charline Labonté and Christina Kessler once again found themselves between the pipes for their respective teams, though it was the latter that had the most work, as les Canadiennes out shot the Furies 32-22.
Natalie Spooner would be the first one on the board though, beating Labonté top corner with a wrister set up by Sena Suzuki and Jessica Vella. Spooner's 16th goal of the season seemed to wake les Canadiennes up, as they immediately fired four shots on goal, before Ann-Sophie Bettez tied it up on a feed from Katia Clement-Heydra and Chelsey Saunders.
