The Montreal Canadiens made a signing to add to their AHL depth, adding Brandon Baddock on a one-year contract.
It is a league-minimum deal, valued at $700,000 at the NHL level, though Baddock will more than likely be spending the whole season in the AHL after he clears waivers, set to earn $110,000 in the minors.

The coaches of the Laval Rocket will be very familiar with Baddock’s play, as he’s spent the last three seasons with the rival Binghamton Devils.
