Goaltender Byran Pitton is the newest member of the Montreal Canadiens ECHL affiliate Brampton Beast.
At 6'3″, Pitton was selected in the fifth round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers.
He stood in-between the pipes for KH Sanok of the Polish Hockey League last season, and earned a 1.97 GAA, and a league-best save percentage of .934 in 44 games played.
Prior to playing in Poland, Pitton spent time on the former Central Hockey Leagues' Allen Americans, helping to lead the team to a league championship.
