The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, have announced their training camp roster. On-ice sessions started on today at the Powerade Centre in Brampton.
The roster includes several Beast players who are still at the Laval Rocket training camp on a tryout basis, including top-pairing defenceman Willie Corrin and rookie Kevin Dufour. In addition the Rocket have not loaned any players to the Beast yet, including any players on two-way AHL/ECHL deals such as Thomas Ebbing and Yannick Veilleux. The first NHL-contracted player to join the Beast this season is Cody Donaghey, acquired by the Senators in the Dion Phaneuf deal, on loan from the Ottawa Senators.
