Montreal Canadiens forward Andrew Shaw will not face any supplemental discipline for his slew foot on Buffalo Sabres forward Johan Larsson in Thursday’s game against Buffalo.
Shaw, in his first regular season game with Montreal after an offseason trade from Chicago, was assessed a match penalty for a slew foot in the final seconds of the third period.
The Senior Vice President of the Department of Player Safety Stephane Quintal will have a meeting with Shaw, who has had a game misconduct or match penalty in two of his three games with the Canadiens this season.
