The Montreal Canadiens have made a second waiver claim of the 2021 pre-season, picking up Adam Brooks from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Brooks, 25, is 5’10, 185, and plays centre. He was a standout in the Western Hockey League with the Regina Pats. He was a fourth-round pick (92nd overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2016 NHL Draft.
He has been primarily an AHL player with the Toronto organization, with 42 goals and 50 assists in 164 career games. In 18 career NHL games, he has four goals and four assists.
