It’s been a stumbling week for the Montreal Canadiens as they are currently sporting a three-game losing streak.
The first of three losses was undeserving as they dictated the pace last Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs despite being on the wrong end of a 2-1 deficit heading into the second period. Tomas Tatar and Brendan Gallagher kept the offence going, but unfortunately, the game ended in overtime.
Montreal then had a four-day break which was full of player movement starting with the trade that brought Dale Weise and Christian Folin to Habs land ahead of the Leafs game.
