After an unusual year, we’re now set to begin the NHL Entry Draft, featuring seven rounds of 32 selections (minus the first round with the Arizona Coyotes force to forfeit their pick) to bring in the next wave of young hockey talent.
Many of these players played very little in their COVID-affected draft seasons, so scouting staffs and their general managers don’t have as strong a picture as usual of the prospect crop.
