After a bit of a pause the Canadiens were once again on the clock with one of their three fourth round picks. This choice was originally acquired from St. Louis in a trade that sent Marco Scandella to the Blues in 2020.
With that pick the Canadiens selected William Trudeau from the Charlottetown Islanders in the QMHJL.

In 40 games for Charlottetown, Trudeau piled up eight goals, 23 assists with a +34 rating, while adding two assists in eight playoff games.
The Canadiens are back on the clock shortly with picks 126 and 127 in the fourth round.
