It appears that Zabit Magomedsharipov will not receive a replacement opponent at UFC Fight Night on Aug. 29.
Last week, UFC president Dana White confirmed that Yair Rodriguez had withdrawn from a proposed featherweight clash with Magomedsharipov due to injury. At the time, the promotion was in the process of seeking a new foe for the 29-year-old Dagestani.
However, Magomedsharipov announced in a recent Instagram post that he has ended his camp and will return to Russia.
