It’s been over eight years since Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight slugger Matt Brown was taking out the trash on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 7, the combat sports reality show that helped the Ohioan, now 35, graduate to a career inside the Octagon.
A career that is now in jeopardy.
Brown (20-16) was perhaps one fight away from a 170-pound title shot, thanks to his blistering seven-fight win streak from 2012-14, but a unanimous decision loss to ex-champion Robbie Lawler sent him to the back of the line.
That’s when things went from bad to worse.
