Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa are set to fight inside the Octagon — again.
Contracts have yet to be signed, but “Soldier of God” and “Borrachinha” have verbally agreed to meet at UFC 241 in Anaheim, Calif., on Aug. 17, multiple sources told MMA Fighting. ESPN first reported the news.
Romero and Costa were scheduled to fight on many different dates before, most recently in the main event of UFC Fort Lauderdale in Florida, but the match-up always fell through for different reasons.
The Cuban middleweight, a former title challenger in the UFC, hasn’t fought since losing a split decision to Robert Whittaker on June 2018.
