Yoel Romero will look to make his Bellator debut in August after the former UFC middleweight title challenger was previously forced to withdraw from a light heavyweight bout against Anthony Johnson at Bellator 258.
Romero, who failed a pre-fight medical screening due to an eye injury, can’t wait to return to action and is ready to ‘kill somebody’ when he finally steps into the cage.
“The fans can see me very soon,” Romero said in a recent interview (via Middle Easy). “Maybe August. Maybe August, maybe 205 or maybe 185. I want to fight in both classes, I wanted the belt in both classes, but I’m coming soon.
