With less than two weeks to go before fight night, the UFC Vegas 7 co-main event has suffered a huge blow.
Former middleweight title challenger Yoel Romero suffered an undisclosed injury that has forced him to withdraw from his August 22nd matchup with Uriah Hall. BJPenn.com first reported the news before confirmation of his injury was revealed by MMAJunkie.
Romero (13-5) is on a three-fight losing streak, albeit all close decisions to Robert Whittaker, Paulo Costa, and Israel Adesanya. While the Whittaker and Costa fights were thrilling, the Adesanya title bout was decidedly not.
