Fifteen-time Octagon veteran Yancy Medeiros is no longer on the Ultimate Fighting Championship roster.
MMAFighting.com reported on Tuesday that Medeiros and Justin Jaynes have been released by the Las Vegas-based promotion. It is unclear if Medeiros and Jaynes were cut with existing fights on their deals or if their contracts were simply not renewed.
Medeiros has been with the UFC since 2013, compiling a 6-8 record with one no contest over the course of his tenure. He earned notable wins over the likes of Alex Oliveira, Erick Silva and John Makdessi.
