Fans were left stunned when the Ultimate Fighting Championship released one of its brightest rising talents in Yair Rodriguez. The 25 year-old was earmarked as a potential future star. As a young Mexican fighter with his ability coupled with his flamboyant aggressive style, the UFC had a poster boy for Latin American fans.
According to the UFC, the decision to cut “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” winner was his failure to accept fights against Ricardo Lamas and then Zabit Magomedsharipov.
Rodriguez appeared on the recent episode of “The MMA Hour” and says these claims by the UFC are false.
