WSOF signs veterans Caros Fodor and Cory Devela to multi-year contracts

The World Series of Fighting announced a couple of free agent signings on Friday.

Lightweight Strikeforce/ONE FC veteran Caros Fodor — the brother of Ben Fodor, a.k.a. Phoenix Jones — and middleweight Cory Devela have signed multi-year contracts with the promotion, as was announced through a press release.

The 31-year old Fodor (10-4), a pupil of Matt Hume in Washington state, has won two fights in a row under the ONE FC banner. He submitted Willy Ni (kimura) and Vincent Latoel (rear-naked choke) while fighting in Asia. His last North American appearances came against Sam Stout at UFC 157, whom he dropped a split decision to, and Pat Healy in Strikeforce.
