The World Series of Fighting announced some new signings Tuesday, including a very familiar name.
Veteran John Howard, who competed in the UFC 14 times spread over two stints, has signed on to compete with the promotion. Howard last fought at UFC Fight Night 80 in December against Tim Means, where he suffered a second-round knockout. Overall, he has lost four of five fights after scoring upset victories over Siyar Bahadurzada and Uriah Hall in 2013.
WSOF president Ray Sefo stated in his "Executive Action" column that he still believed the 33-year-old "Doomsday" has more fight in him.
