World Series of Fighting middleweight champion David Branch took home an event-high payout of $130,000 for his successful title defense at WSOF 30.
The Nevada Athletic Commission on Monday released pay information from the April 2 event, which took place at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Branch, whose $65,000 “show” purse was doubled by an equal win bonus, dominated challenger Clifford Starks across five rounds in the evening’s main event. Starks walked away with $15,000 in defeat.
Other top earners at WSOF 30 included newly crowned welterweight champion Jon Fitch ($70,000) and his opponent Joao Zeferino ($15,000), as well as light heavyweights Vinny Magalhaes ($14,000) and Jake Heun ($10,000).
