The next World Series of Fighting (WSOF) event is WSOF 27: "Future Champs" on January 23rd, 2016 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.
One of the fights set for the main card has just changed, and coincidentally it features Caros Fodor (10-4). Originally scheduled to face WSOF 25 tournament veteran Mike Ricci (11-4), the hip injury that eliminated him from advancing in the lightweight tournament has struck again.
Following Ricci's medical withdrawal from the bout, The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 competitor Luiz "Buscape" Firmino (18-6) has agreed to step in on short notice.
