Earlier this year, Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) wanted to know if World Series of Fighting (WSOF) Executive Vice President Ali Abdel-Aziz was going to manage fighters, or play matchmaker with his current mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion.
Trying to do both may constitute a conflict of interest.
With that in mind, it probably won't come as a surprise to learn that WSOF President Ray Sefo, as well as WSOF CEO Carlos Silva, agreed to amicably part ways with Abdel-Aziz, who was recently spotted with Fabricio Werdum for this seven-figure deal.
"We all sat down as a team and we made a decision together that it was appropriate to part ways amicably," Silva told MMAjunkie.
