It's a good day to be Marlon Moraes.
Following his successful Bantamweight title defense "Palhares vs. Shields" in Las Vegas, last Saturday night (Aug. 1, 2015), Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) released payroll numbers for WSOF 22.
And Moraes cashed in big.
For his three round performance against the previously undefeated Sheymon Moraes, Marlon collected $70,000 to show and a $70,000 win bonus (minus fees for licensing and drug testing, etc.). He was essentially paid $140,000 for the fight, an average of $169 a second.
Not bad work if you can get it.
