Tezos Who’s Number One returns to action tonight with a stacked card of grappling matches set to go down live from the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas.
The main event sees rivals Nicholas Meregali and Kaynan Duarte go head-to-head for the third time, with tonight’s matchup being their first no-gi match. Both Brazilian grapplers are multiple-time IBJJF world champions. Duarte has more no-gi experience, being a two-time ADCC gold medalist, while Meregali transition to no-gi competition last year. Since then, Meregali has won each of his two bouts in WNO and won two medals at the 2022 ADCC World Championships: a bronze in the -99kg division and a silver in the absolute division.
