With Carlos Diego Ferreira out, UFC newcomer Jordan Rinaldi steps up to fight Abel Trujillo at UFC Fight Night 88

The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) net has caught another fish. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Carlos Diego Ferreira was recently pulled from his UFC Fight Night 88 fight on May 29 opposite Abel Trujillo due to a potential out-of-competition violation.

As a result, UFC newcomer and 28-year-old submission specialist Jordan Rinaldi will step up on less than two weeks notice to make his Octagon debut against one of the toughest fighters in the 155-pound division. Rinaldi (12-4) is currently riding a five-fight win streak and holds a submission victory over current UFC Featherweight Dennis Bermudez dating back to 2010.
