Conor McGregor probably has enough money in the bank account to last a lifetime, which has led many to speculate that the Irishman’s days as a prizefighter may be numbered.
Some fans predicted that McGregor was going to retire after his mega-money boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr., but ‘The Notorious’ will return to the Octagon next month to take on the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov in the blockbuster UFC 229 main event.
Depending on the outcome, McGregor could sail off into the sunset a happy and retired man, but SBG Ireland striking coach Owen Roddy isn’t so sure.
