At Friday's (September 30, 2016) UFC Fight Night 96 weigh ins, Alex Oliveira (15-3-1) came in a 161.5 pounds, a whopping five and a half pounds over the allotted 156-pound limit for a Lightweight bout.
His opponent for the Lightweight scrap taking place at Moda Center in Portland, Ore. on Saturday, Will Brooks (19-1), was not pleased when he heard the news and took to Twitter to voice his displeasure.
"I'm in the sauna right now," Brooks said in a video he recorded in a sauna while still cutting weight. "I just saw Alex Oliveira missed weight by five and a half pounds.
