Apart from cursing out Bob Arum and Jeff Mayweather for their ‘bulls—t’ claims on the purse split between UFC and Conor McGregor, Dana White also gave an update on the negotiations for the proposed boxing match. According to the UFC president, there’s quite a bit of hurdles to get over — such as Floyd Mayweather’s agreement with Showtime — but he’s been discussing things with the boxer’s camp for a while now.
“Mayweather’s team would have to deal with [Showtime]. I’m dealing with my side, I’ll let them deal with their side,” White said on the UFC 210 post-fight press conference (transcribed by Fox Sports).
