Cain Velasquez will officially get another shot at the UFC heavyweight title, and it won't be in the altitude of Mexico City. UFC president Dana White confirmed the rematch between Velasquez and champ Fabricio Werdum will go down on February 6th at UFC 196, in the friendly confines of Las Vegas. Velasquez (13-2, 11-2 UFC) lost his title to Werdum (20-5-1, 8-2 UFC) at UFC 188 in May in Mexico City. It was ultimately decided that Velasquez would get an immediate rematch, which wasn't the most popular decision but the high altitude the first fight took place at may have made a difference.
