An new featherweight is on his way to the UFC following an injury to Mirsad Bektic.
The injury bug appears to be in full form as of late, bringing down Michelle Waterson, Erik Koch, Dennis Bermudez, alongside several others. The most recent injury to bring a new face through the UFC doors is to rising top prospect Mirsad Bektic. Bektic was supposed to face top 15 featherweight Tatsuya Kawajiri at the TUF 22 Finale on December 11th in Las Vegas, Nevada. But, with Bektic now riding the pine, the UFC has called up newcomer Jason Knight to take his place.
