UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman sympathizes with Jon Jones and believes he will come back “stronger.”
Following Jon Jones' hit-and-run incident several weeks ago, which included minor injuries to a pregnant lady, fighters and pundits have been noticeably disappointed with the former champion's actions, and publicly supported the UFC's decision to strip him of his light-heavyweight title.
While middleweight champion Chris Weidman did not touch on the UFC's decision to strip Jones of the title, he did show more empathy towards Jones than others did. Having dealt with the temptations that a champion faces on a regular basis, Weidman understands how Jones found himself walking down the wrong path.
