Featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo returns to action against interim champion Conor McGregor on Dec. 12, showing he’s definitely healed from the rib injury that forced him out of UFC 189.
Aldo, who takes on McGregor in the main event of UFC 194 in Las Vegas, posted a video on his Instagram account Thursday night, throwing 14 hard kicks in a 15-second clip.
"It’s just the beginning," Aldo wrote. "No blah blah blah. We train hard, the way we plan, and our performance speaks more than our mouth."
Aldo (25-1) goes for his eight title defense in the UFC, while McGregor (18-2) looks to win the undisputed title after claiming the interim gold with a second-round TKO victory over Chad Mendes in July.
