Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar looks to be in great shape ahead of his featherweight title bout against Max Holloway at UFC 240, as the 37-year-old looked as sharp as ever at Wednesday’s open workouts in Alberta, Canada.
Check out the video below, courtesy of MMA Fighting, where Edgar shadowboxes and hits the mitts with coach Mark Henry before fielding questions from the audience.
Edgar, a UFC veteran of over twelve years, earned his title shot after beating fellow veteran Cub Swanson via unanimous decision in the UFC Fight Night 128 co-main event last year. Prior to that, ‘The Answer’ was knocked out by 28-year-old Brian Ortega at UFC 222, who went on to challenge ‘Blessed’ for the featherweight title at UFC 231.
