A little over a week after their UFC 216 matchup fell apart on fight night, the heavyweight pairing has been rebooked for a Nov. 4 showdown in Madison Square Garden. MMA Junkie first reported the news, which was announced by the UFC this weekend.
Harris (10-6) and Godbeer (12-3) were initially slated to meet at UFC 216, however their heavyweight tilt was pillaged just hours before the event, as Harris was pulled to serve as a late-replacement for Derrick Lewis in a pay-per-view matchup against Fabricio Werdum. Harris ultimately suffered a 65-second submission loss to Werdum, while Godbeer was paid his full show and win purse despite not competing.
