Walt Harris suspended four months by USADA, still eligible to fight at UFC Ottawa

Walt Harris has accepted a four-month USADA suspension, the UFC’s anti-doping partner announced Monday.

Harris, a UFC heavyweight, failed an in-competition drug test related to last December’s UFC 232, where he defeated Andrei Arlovski by split decision in Inglewood, California. “Big Ticket” tested positive for the anabolic agent LGD-4033. USADA determined the failure was a result of a contaminated supplement, so it reduced Harris’ sanction.

“Following notification of his positive test, Harris provided USADA with information about a dietary supplement product he was using before and at the time of the relevant sample collection,” a USADA release read.
