The UFC’s number two ranked light heavyweight Volkan Oezdemir was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Fl on November 18th and charged with aggravated battery. The charges stemmed from an alleged August 12th altercation between the UFC light heavyweight and another man at a bar, which was said to have caused 'substantial injuries.' Since the night of his arrest, both the UFC and Oezdemir’s manager (via MMA Junkie) have given brief statements on the situation.
Today the Fort Lauderdale Police Department provided Bloody Elbow with a copy of a ‘complaint affidavit’ that somewhat details Oezdemir’s arrest.
