Sam Alvey called out Vitor Belfort right after his win over Rashad Evans in Mexico City, and the Brazilian quickly accepted the challenge.
Alvey said he’s on the “2017 vengeance tour,” defeating those who scored wins over his coach Dan Henderson in the past. Evans defeated Henderson via split decision back in 2013, and "The Phenom” knocked him out twice in the UFC.
"(Alvey) let's fight in Vegas,” Belfort posted on his social media. "You are gonna make history: you will be the 1st man to get knockdown with a smile on the face.
