Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for its UFC Fight Night 101: “Whittaker vs. Brunson” mixed martial arts (MMA) event this Saturday (Nov. 26, 2016) inside Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Since many casual fans may not be familiar with some of the up-and-coming names competing “Down Under,” the promotion started rolling out several videos to introduce folks to the future of combat sports.
That includes top prospects like Jason Knight.
“The Kid” won a bloody, three-round “Fight of the Night” split decision against Jim Alers at the UFC on FOX 20 event last summer in Chicago, Illinois, one that evened his UFC record at one apiece.
