There's a controversy brewing over at ONE Championship, whose Friday show in Manila was supposed to feature a heavyweight title bout between ex-UFC fighter Brandon Vera and Chi Lewis-Parry. That is no longer the case, as Lewis-Parry was pulled from the ONE 35 card and has since been replaced by China's Paul Cheng.
According to ONE's Victor Cui, a failure to submit medical results and his drug tests is the official reason for why Lewis-Parry was pulled from the fight:
After multiple requests made by ONE Officials directly to Chi Lewis Parry and his Manager over the last few weeks, Chi has failed to submit his medical results and his drug tests for the fight this Friday.
