This started going down hill for TJ Dillashaw in a hurry on Saturday night. The bantamweight champion met Henry Cejudo in the center of the Octagon, looking to feel out his flyweight opponent’s range and timing, but an exchange just 20 seconds into the fight - followed by a headkick as Dillashaw exited the pocket - left the Ludwig protégée reeling. The ‘Messenger’ was quick to pounce and ended up with a stoppage victory just 32 seconds into round 1.
A ‘superfight’ between elite champions, over in the blink of an eye. It might not be a bad idea to slow that down a bit.
