The most wild and crazy finish of the weekend in MMA may be locked up before UFC 254 even begins.
On Saturday, bantamweight Vyacheslav Ptitsyn took on Gadzhi Kurbanaliev at Modern Pankration Federation 232 in Vladivostok, Russia. Ptitsyn landed a ferocious right hand that knocked Kurbanaliev stiff on his feet.
Ptitisyn would follow up with one more right hand that pinned Kurbanaliev’s almost lifeless body into the fence when the referee stepped in to mercifully stop the fight.
The knockout was the first stoppage win of Ptitsyn’s career and improved his record to 3-0 since turning pro a little less than a year ago.
