Watch Roger Gracie make his return to competitive Brazilian jiu-jitsu against his long-time rival, Rodrigo Comprido.
Roger Gracie made his return to competitive grappling yesterday when he faced long-time rival, Rodrigo Comprido. Coming into this match Gracie had won 3 straight against Comprido, but hadn't competed in an IBJJF match in 5 years after leaving the sport to focus on MMA. In the meantime, Comprido had managed to stay active, competing extensively at elite competitions. Comprido's activity would be no match for Gracie's superior skills however, as Gracie put on an absolute clinic against his old adversary.
Over the course of 4 minutes Roger Gracie showed why he could be considered the greatest submission grappler of all time.
