Tyson Fury has urged Dana White to find Nick Diaz an opponent following their recent MMA training session at a boxing gym in Miami, Florida.
“He’s in tremendous shape,” Fury said of Diaz on Instagram (h/t MMA Fighting). “He’s ready. Make the fight, Dana. Make the fight.”
Fury’s comments come just days after White questioned Diaz’ proposed comeback, with the UFC president raising concerns about Nick’s motivation after spending six years on the sidelines.
The former Strikeforce welterweight champion hasn’t fought since his controversial 2018 no contest (NC) against Anderson Silva at UFC 183, which saw both fighters suspended after testing positive for prohibited substances.
