Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Chris Leben was arrested earlier this month in San Diego, Calif., where he was charged with 11 counts of violating a court order, two counts of criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor charge for vandalism, and felony possession of an assault weapon.
The arrest came nearly a month after Leben was accused of trying to enter his ex-wife's apartment, not long after he allegedly sent her a text message promising to murder her father. After police arrived on the scene, a loaded handgun was discovered on the premises -- separate from the M16 assault rifle discovered in a nearby maintenance closet.
