The 24-year-old Polish light heavyweight needed less than two minutes to find the sweet spot and put Gian Villante down with a body shot on the main card of UFC Prague on Saturday.
Villante stepped forward to land a right hand and Oleksiejczuk answered with one of his own to Villante’s bread-basket, and after a slight delay, Villante crumbled to the mat. Following a brief burst of ground-and-pound, the bout was waved off at the 1:34 mark of round one.
Oleksiejczuk (13-2) has now won 10 straight bouts (excluding his UFC debut, which was overturned to a no contest when Oleksiejczuk later tested positive for a banned substance) dating back to January 2015.
