Troubled former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Jason Miller missed weight by 24 pounds for scheduled middleweight title fight against fellow Octagon veteran Luke Barnatt at Venator FC 3.
“Mayhem” initially checked in at 209 pounds for the bout, which was then scrapped. Instead, Barnatt will defend his belt against middleweight Stefan Croitoru, who was supposed to fight earlier on the card, according to multiple reports.
According to MMAFighting.com, Venator FC reportedly offered Barnatt 30 percent of Miller’s purse and an additional five thousand euros to remain in the fight against “Mayhem”, but the British fighter declined the offer.
