Former long-time UFC welterweight champion and Hall-of-Famer Matt Hughes was involved in a horrific accident in Illinois last June. The truck that he was driving collided with a moving train leaving him in a coma, although there was no internal bleeding and no broken bones were found.
Hughes showed slow signs of recovery and was finally able to go on a sushi break last week. Just this Monday, friend Tony Zucca posted a video on Instagram showing Hughes doing some light grappling. The 43-year-old former fighter was doing some guard drills while wearing the hospital band on his wrist.
