Jon Jones was able to avoid an incredibly long suspension after testing positive for steroids. He has been booked to rematch Alexander Gustafsson, but he still has to appear in front of the athletic commission before it all becomes official.
USADA’s clause allowed Jones’ assistance to the company to shorten his sentence. Although it seems unlikely that they hand him a suspension that cancels the rematch, it technically doesn’t stop the commission from handing out additional punishment.

After multiple failed drug tests, and other controversies outside the cage, Jones has been stripped of his light heavyweight title for three consecutive bouts.
